Installing addin on server

I have a nifty addin that I want to make available through a web site. Is
it possible to install an addin located on the web? (I tried adding the
ftp'd website address but was unsuccessful.)

Did you try Browse from the Tools, Addins dialog? At the bottom of the
"look in" drop down is "FTP
Locations".

Thanks, Jim, for responding.

I did exactly that, and when I clicked on the addin, I got the message:
"You cannot use an Internet address here. Enter a path that points to a
location on your computer or on the network."

Any ideas?
