Installing ActiveX Controls in a GPO

T

Troy

Our company uses a number of web based applications that
require an ActiveX Control to be loaded on to a users
machine before accessing the application.

Our users do NOT have administrative privileges and
require one of us to come out to their desk (or remotely
connect), log them out, log ourselves in as an admin and
do the installation. Then log back out and let them log
in to use it.

We used to create images w/ the ActiveX Controls already
installed but as new server packages come out our client
ActiveX controls need to be upgraded.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how to install an ActiveX
Control using a GPO? This will greatly reduce our
administrative burdens!

Thanks Gang, I appreciate any help you folks can offer
