Installing a Generic/Text printer for XP

I'm trying to install a printer that will use the
Generic/Text-only printer driver. But I can't find the
driver listed in the printer list (like it used to be for
all other Windows versions). Where can I find this
driver for Windows XP?

In English this means look through the standard printer list for a
manufacturer called Generic.

Can you help me to resolve this problem, please ?

Hi Alan,

I have got a question. Can you help me to resolve this problem, please ?

We have got totally 1500 pc computers and thin clients. We use the Windows 2003 Terminal Server. When the computers that have got a printer in the local connect the terminal server, terminal server creates a session printer in the default settings. But we want to change this default settings for “Generic / Text Only”

We must use the following configuration.

Font Selection à Code Page à Turkish (1254)

Device Settings à Cont. Feed – No Break à A3

Everytime terminal server must creates “Generic / Text Only” printer with our configuration settings. We try to change “tty.gpd” file, but we didn’t do what we want.

How can I do these settings ?

I am waiting your response immediately.
