Installing a game and receiving an applicatin error

I have 3 games that I have tried to install. I installed
one but whenever I try to install the others I receive an
Application Error which says: WOWEXEC caused a General
Protection Fault in module MMSYSTEM.DLL at 000A:0032.
How do I correct this?

WOWexe (Windows on Windows executable) is run whenever you run a 16-bit
program. Basically, Windows 3.11 is started, then your program is started
inside of it.

Remember that XP is 32-bit and isn't designed for 16-bit, DOS type programs.

Having said that, barring updates, try running the programs in compatibility
mode. Find the program using Windows Explorer. Right-click on it and select
Properties, Compatibility. Select Windows 95 for the mode. Select Disable
visual themes and Turn off advanced text....

If this doesn't work, try going to the website of your programs for support,
or to http://www.ntcompatible.com/compatibility.html for user answers.
