Installing a DivX codec

How do I go about making VB .Net code that will install a
DivX codec on the user's machine?

I need make a codec installer to ship with my program
because my Windows Form will use the ActiveX Windows
Media Player component to view embedded DivX video
clips. I don't think this codec is native to a XP system.

Are there problems with redistributing DivX codecs? My
program is freeware.

Hi Bob
You can sure create an MSI project to your application and add this DivX
codec to the installer project of your application . however , if you are
asking fro the legal issues then I don't know but I guess you need to
discuss that with the producers of the codec you are about to use
