installer has insufficient privileges

i have windows xp pro and am trying to install adobe
acrobat 6.0 and get an error message as follows...

'error 1303 (i believe this is specific to the software
i'm installing): the installer has insufficient
privileges to access this directory: c:\documents and
settings\all users\documents\adobe pdf 6.0. the
installation cannot continue. log on as an administrator
or contact your system administrator.'

problem is i'm logged on as the administrator, so i can't
figure out how to solve this problem. adobe doesn't open
til tomorrow am, but i think they may tell me this is a
windows problem anyway. (if i try to goto that folder
using windows explorer, i can't see it, my explorer is
set to display all folders. when i try to create this
folder, explorer says theres already a folder by this
name.)

has anyone run into a similar problem? and/or know a
solution to this problem?

thanks
rob

You might want to ask this question in a Windows newsgroup. Microsoft
Access(TM) is a database program, part of the Office Pro suite; this
newsgroup is for questions concerning Access the program, not for
questions concerning access to files and security.

You will need to talk to whomever administers Windows security on your
system.
