Installer/Emachine

My emachine's cursor first quit working ... I reinstalled the emachine
"boot desk".

Now I get a prompt that says something is wrong with the "installer".

What does it involve to replace and take care of this installer
problem? (The reinstallation disk does not do anything)

The eMachine people would know! Try their web site or give them a call.
