Installed WINDOWS - now 2nd hard drive unreadable.

I recently re-installed WINDOWS XP PRO and forgot to disconnect the second
hard drive while formatting/installing WINDOWS. When I try to access the
second hard drive, I am unable to see the files and disk management states it
is now unreadable - device manager shows the drive working fine.

Anybody able to help with this? Have I lost everything on that second hard
drive??

What led you to believe you had to disconnect the second hard drive to
install Windows? That is not a normal requirement.
