Installation

Having formatted my hard drive, and proceeded to install
XP Home edition, every thing went fine until the
installation stalled with 13 minutes to go whilst
registering components. I have re tried installing XP but
it stalls at the same point every time. Can anyone help.

Is the firmware for all cards and Bios on your computer to its most current?
