Did you uninstall BCM B2 first?
There are many errors, which is the one that you are getting?
=====
When I attempt to remove BCM B@ I receive an error.
The intsallation error refers me to an error log file. The last part of
the
log file reads as follws:
MSI (s) (50:74) [07:38:42:765]: Machine policy value 'DisableUserInstalls'
is 0
MSI (s) (50:74) [07:38:42:765]: MainEngineThread is returning 1605
MSI (c) (F8:24) [07:38:42:781]: Decrementing counter to disable shutdown.
If
counter >= 0, shutdown will be denied. Counter after decrement: -1
MSI (c) (F8:24) [07:38:42:781]: MainEngineThread is returning 1605
=== Verbose logging stopped: 11/3/2006 7:38:42 ===
==================================
Thanks
Alton
Unfortunately, that log is not useful.
MSI creates other logs. One way to find them is to click Start -> Search ->
Then you'd set filters to include all files, hidden files, and all folders
in the last 1 day.
Finally you'd click on the "modified" column to sort by it and to bring all
files just-modified to the top.
