Installation of USB Cable

Hi,
I bought USB Cable for my handphone. When I connect the cable to my PC, it
requires driver and I was unable to install it. tried download driver from
Sony website and install..also failed.
I tried USB Bluetooth, also need driver and can't seem to install it. Tried
on other PC with different OS and managed to install. What is the problem
with Windows XP??

It could be that USB is disabled in your system's BIOS, in which case the
operating system is not the problem.. have you checked this out yet?
