Installation of media center

hello, we had bought a WMCE Pc, but after some time the PC was running only
in a safe mode, there were no restoration point, and the system recovery
couldnt be dome in the safe mode. After the reinstallation of Windows XP
Media center edition 2005 there is no media center edition in my comp...
What can be a problem....?
