I purchased an HP 7750N back in March of 07. I created a recovery disk for
the PC. My hard drive died over the weekend and I am trying to re-install
Vista from the recovery disks and running into errors when it is booting up.
Any direction would be greatful
Thank you
Gary

Gary, before anyone cane help you it would be useful if we knew what error
messages you were getting and, if necessary, at what stage of the boot
process do the error messages appear, i.e., pre-windows (text on black
screen) post-windows (during or after the green progress bar shows). Blue
screen of Death, where the PC boots so far then a blue screen appears and
the system reboots.

Contact HP for this issue since you should be able to reinstall Vista
from the recovery disks you made. If HP can't help you when you discuss
the errors you're experiencing, they can send you out new recovery disks
for a minimal charge, usually around $20.
