Installation for this Product not Available...

Dave

I've been unable to upgrade, uninstall, or re-install several software
programs (Office, Adobe). All have the same error message so I'm
"assuming" its a windows problem.

The error message is: "The installation for this product is not
available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it"

I'm running WinXP SP2. I also used a Registry Cleaner -- that may have
removed some code that it shouldn't have a while ago. Any ideas on what
might have happened and how I can get it fixed (Can not undo the
registry cleaner -- it was done a while ago)
Thanks
Dave

That is the reason it is mentioned many time over that any registry
editing should only be done by those well versed in using it.

The only 2 things I can suggest would be:
Put the Office CD in and try to run the Repair.
Run the MS Cleanup Tool and be careful with it.
