Installation errors for IIS

I have Windows XP on my machine. When I try to install IIS by using
"add/remove windows components", I get errors for not finding a bunch of
files like:infoctrs.dll,convlog.exe, ADMXPROX.DLL etc.
I am have the XP Pro CD with me and have installed service pack 2. What is
the problem here. AM I not doing things correctly?

Thanks

Hello, I have exactly the same problem! The installation window tells me to
insert the XP Prof. CD. The first file the installation is looking for on the
CD is "staxmem.dl_" and that file is in the folder "i386" on the CD. Still
installation window says it can't copy the file. I made a copy of the
"stax..."-file and putted it on the desk and typed the path to it ...it
didn't help. I cancelled the file but the problem is still the same with the
next file. I didn't have any other program running so it can hardly be a
antivirus program blocking the files. Is it yet another Windows Bug?
