Installation Error

I tried to install Windows XP on my Windows 98 2nd edition
Operating System and got an error code of 535FI58H. I
can't find anything on that code. Help????????????

Hi,

Common installation problems are usually cured by restarting the machine,
then....

1) Delete the contents of the C:\windows\temp folder, there may be a file in
there interfering with the setup routine of the installer.

2) Turn off all other running programs, especially your antivirus software.
Use ctrl+alt+delete, if necessary, to "end task" on everything except
Explorer.
