Installation error

I tried to install Vista RC1 on my PC and after the Product Key window I
receive the following error message: Windows cannot open the required file
F:\Sources\Install.wim is missing. Make sure all files required for
installation are available, and restart the installation. Errorcode:
0x80070570

yes unfortunatley i have had this problem as well. however still unresolved i
redownloaded the file from the ms server for the 64 bit vista and it worked
then i tried to upload my video card drivers and boom it crashed i am
havingto reinstall now..however the install problem is back again..the same
error as you and i cant find a way around it at this point in time any one
else have an idea..thanks

i have this same problem..however i got it to work with a fresh download and
then it crashed when i started loading my nvidia drivers ...any thoughts

I had a similar problem - solved it by re-burning the DVD at 1x speed from
the ISO and then all was OK and my system has been good from then on

actually i did get it working rc1 seems to be extremly picky about the
partition you put it on im running a quad os system xppro xp pro 64 vista and
red hat..lol..but just keep trying it took me 5 tries to get it to take..i
put it on a 90 gig ntfs partition..

My image file was corrupt. I downloaded the file using download manager and
used CDCheck to compare the hash file. Burned a DVD and it loaded fine.
