Installation error

I have tried install 3 times and got the same result twice on upgrade and
once one clean install. When setup was copying files to drive it reached 10%
and stoped with the error code: 80070017. Has anyone seen this. Any
suggestions?

The motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-7n400 Pro2 Rev.2. 6 harddrives (4 on ide
raid controler, 2 on primary ide). Video card is gforce fx5200 128meg. Lan
and audio are onboard.

I had a very similar problem without any resolution.

I'm running an ABIT NF7 Nforce-2 w/ 8x AGP, AMD XP-2500+ and 256 MB DDR
PC3200. I have attempted 3 installs also and each time it copies all of the
windows files and then goes to the next stage and just hangs at 0%. No error
codes but no additional progress either. A look at Task Manager shows that I
have three iterations of setup running and only one of them is active. The
active setup.exe, however, is using 95 to 99% of the CPU. At this point
there is no hard drive activity or DVD activity. I've tried stopping all
background programs including virus software with the same result.

Given the problems with installation I'm hesitant to pursue this any
further. I don't want to put this beta into use and have other issues start
popping up.

I have the same problem Error 80070017 on installation. Any ideas. I goes to
12% before I get the error.

Try This: Burn the ISO Image in 1X or 2X of Speed / Change the DVD+ To DVD- /
If don't works try to download a new Image, Goodlook
