I tried to install XP upgrade over my 98 system. With
only 15 minutes left of the install I get errors and
suggests me to restart computer. I do this and when it
restarts it starts the download off at 46 minutes left.
Then it goes down to 35 minutes left and throws up the
errors again. I want to have this professionally
installed but my guy wont come for a week. My question is
how do I cancel the install. Everytime I restart it goes
back to the install. I just want to revert back to 98. I
have a disk if I need it. I tried putting that dick in
and restarting hoping it would pick up on it but it
didnt. Please help!

Hey Danielle,

To start the process of cancelling the XP setup, restart the computer, and
then click Cancel Windows XP Setup from the boot menu. If this option is
not displayed on the screen when you restart your computer, we will need to
start the uninstallation manually. Review the article numbers below for
more information about how to restore the computer to the previous version
of Windows:
