Install Windows XP on a USB hard drive

I just need to know if it is possible to install Windows XP Professional or Home Edition on a USB hard drive
My motherboard will support boot from USB (complies with Int 13H as posted on your USB_Boot.doc
 
I was not able to install XP on a Western Digital USB, although my Dell system supports USB boot.

CompUSA sells a 2.2GB USB HD. Does anyone have successfully installed XP Professional there?
