install 'Microsoft Windows XP Recovery Console' automatically?

Hi,
I want to install the 'Microsoft Windows XP Recovery Console' automatically
by program, how can I do it?
Basically, the windows help says,
to run 'windows_setup_cd_folder\i386\winnt32 /cmdcons' to do it.
I did the followings as an alternative:
1. copy the installed folder c:\cmdcons to a another XP machine
2. edit the boot.ini to add the line "C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft
Windows XP Recovery Console" /cmdcons"
3. copy the file 'cmldr' to the target machine.
4. copy the 'ntldr'to overwrite the one on the c:\ of the target machine

What else? I know I have failed, because when I select the "Microsoft Windows
XP Recovery Console", the machine prompts that "a disk error occured, press
ctrl+alt+del to restart".
Some advise? or some ideas?

Thank you in advance!

Hello Tony,
The best way is to run the winnt32 /cmdcons command to install it. The
bootsect.dat file may be different for each machine, so copying it from
another machine may not work.
Thanks,

Hi Darrell,
Thank you for your reply, I am at the point of considerring bootsect.dat
issue.
But not sure for that.
OK, I will see if there is another way to implement it.
Thanks & BRGs
