Hi

I have a Acer aspire 9410, 4 months old, and i need to install IIS in
Win XP media center.
The problem is that the OS keep asking me for the CD and my ACER
aspire come with no CD. The only thing i have is the sticker on the
bottom of the laptop the the serial numberof win XP...

How can i install IIS quickly???

Thanks a lot!!!

Another illustration of why you shouldn't accept computers that don't come
with install CDs.

IIRC, Media Center Edition is based on XP Home, and IIS isn't supported on
XP Home. There is apparently a way to work around this, but you will need
a Windows 2000 Pro or Server CD, plus you may also still need an XP Home CD,
if you can't search your system's i386 folder for the files it names.
