install hangs on "install AutoUpdater screen

I downloaded the beta from microsoft.com. Everything
went fine until the "install autoupdater" screen and then
everything froze. I have Zonealarm active. ZA ask for
permissions twice and I said yes.

Try uninstalling the previous copy from Add/Remove Programs in the
Control Panel. Then delete the folder, Program Files\Microsoft
AntiSpyware. If you've downloaded the latest beta refresh then install
it after first disconnecting from the internet if on broadband, then
shut down Zone Alarm .
Remember to reenable ZA prior to connecting back to the internet.
