install from dos boot disk

I have a laptop that does not have a bootable optical drive (dvd or cd). I
want to install Vista RTM. I created a 3 gb fat32 partition with the vista
install files and booted a dos boot disk from an SD card. How can I start
the vista install from the DOS environment on the boot disk? Is there
another way I can accomplish this install?

Thanks,
Joe

IME 3GB is way too small, try 20 GB. the install footprint seems to be
about 11 GB. Good luck.
