Install.exe file with Trojan Horse

Since the beginning of January, Norton Anti-Virus has detected and
quarantined 21 files with Trojan Horses all with the file name install.exe.
It cannot repair them. They are mostly in my c:/documents and settings/tee's
pc/favorites/.......install.exe. Where are these trojans coming from?? Is
everything I have installed since January going to be infected with a
trojan??? Norton doesn't give the name, just says it is a trojan horse. How
do I get rid of it, what do I do with the quarantined files, and how do I
find out where it is coming from??? Thanks in advance for any help with this
issue.

A quick check of my system showed that the only usage of a file named
install.exe was for a package that has to do with a Jazz drive, Some CD
drive installs, and CLEI utilities. If nothing else, I'd restart in safe
mode and rename or delete the suspected files. At least AVG does not flag
the two instances of install.exe on my system.
