install error dncomg.hsx

When I try installing VB.net Standard, it hangs on trying to install this
file every time. The event log shows the following.

..NET\Msdn\1033\dncomg.hxs. Verify that the file exists and that you can
access it.

I also, get a "cyclic redundancy error" when I try to copy the whole CD to
the HDD and intall from the HDD. But it the error comes when it hits the
dncomg.hsx file.

Can someone help with this?

I tried the same thing "copy cd to HDD" on another system and I got the same
message... "Cannot copy dncomg. Data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Probably means that I have a bad CD. Will MS replace this?
