Install and files

I have installed Win XP on a 20Gb partition. On other partition (40Gb) are
all personal data. If i upgrade XP with Vista RC1, i'll lose also 40Gb
partition (and all data on it)?

Hi,
I have done this numerous times without data loss on other partitions BUT!!,
VISTA
is a beta operating system, therefore there are no guarantees. I would
backup all the data that you can not afford to lose. Another thing, there is
no going back to XP.
VISTA can not be uninstalled. You would have to reinstall XP from your XP CD.
What I did was buy another disk and install VISTA there with my normal
system disk unplugged.
