install and download problems

no matter what i am trying to do if it has anything to do with install or
download i cant ...windows installer pops up and say system configuring
norton 2005 and then another pop up comes up and says this set up must be
launched threw msi at http://www.symantec.com/install and i have tryed that
but like i said before i cant install any thing can some one please help me
thank you very much. also when i click off of those windows i was talking
about before it stopps the whole process..thanks again.....

Go to your Control Panel which I guess is somewhere you should see if you
click the Start button. Then go to Add/Remove Programs and open it up. Go
down the list presented and you want to remove or delete anything that says
Norton or Symantec. Reboot your machine after that. If you need more help
post back in this thread like you did earlier.
