Instaling a pronter

I have just aquired a canon printer, it works by using infrared.........the
problem is that the disk i was given with the printer does not say anything
about Windows XP on it, im wondering if the printer is not compatible with my
computer that runs XP professional. Is there still a way for me to install
the printer?
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!!!!!!

Goto canon.com and download the XP-compatible driver for your type of
printer.
I.e. : inkjetprinter and model c60.

It's supported natively in Windows XP. You may want to check Canon's web
site to see if there's an updated driver, but even without it, it should
work fine.
