Inserting symbols / characters

Hello,

In wordperfect it was possible to use ctrl+v to insert a character above a
symbol, for exemple a ' above the e, so you would get é. I do not mean alt
codes. I know that é = alt + 130.

By using ctrl+v, type an ' then an e, you would get é. In word I want to put
an ` ro ' above certain Cyrillic symbols like Ю.

Does anyone know how to do this ???

Thanks !!!

If you don't find the character you need in the font's Unicode character
set, see http://home.earthlink.net/~wordfaqs/Overbar.htm
