When inserting a .wav sound into a wordpad document, the only way to remove
it is by "back-spacing". . .when that is done, is that .wav sound still
stored in the computer some-where? If so i would like to delete/erase them
for the room on my hard drive. . . thanks for any help

While you are in the middle of an editing session in Word, Excel, Wordpad
etc. your data is kept in RAM, not on the hard disk (ignoring things like
the paging file or background backups). When you close the file then all
new/modified data is permanently lost.
