Inserting hyperlinks

Sometimes when I enter a file path into a document, it automatically becomes
a hyperlink and sometimes it does not. Does anyone know why this is? For
instance in a document I just created:
\\sstore02\helpdesk\helpdesk\cs2k3ver3.mdb
is in blue and underlined as a hyperlink
whereas:
\\sstore01\s-drive.ssi\csu\csudata.mdb
is in black and not a hyperlink
Both are valid paths to files on my system.
How do I convert a non-hyperlink string of text to a hyperlink? Thanks.

Did you type both, or did you paste one? AutoFormat fires only when you
type. But you should be able to select a pasted one and click the Insert
Hyperlink button to convert it.
