Inserting from Scanner

In the previous versions of Outlook you could easily add to the body of your
new message directly from the scanner. I have not been successful in this
with Outlook 2007. Am I missing somethng or is it no longer supported?

That is no longer supported unless your scanner tools add that functionality
again.
Scan to a file first and then insert the file via Insert-> Picture.
