How do I change the body of a message to excel spreadsheet?

I used to be able to change an email message in the body of outlook to an
excel spreadsheet by clicking on Options then Edit Message in an earlier
version of Office. The body of my message is copied from an excel
spreadsheet and was easily converted back to a spreadsheet. This option no
longer works. Does anyone know how to do this?

never put data into the body of a spreadsheet - you can't guarantee that the
recipient will see it as you intended. Always attach data as an attached
file.
I speak from years of experience as a Systems Accountant.
