Inserting date & time

P

Pat N.

In my FP 2002 web, I have a date & time at the bottom of
every page that says "last modified: current date". It
updates like it's supposed to on my machine, but when I
publish the pages, an old date appears. Someone
suggested to change the timestamp component properties to
use "date page last automatically updated" . . . I did
that and it makes no difference. The actual web site
still has the old dates. Any ideas? Thanks.

Is the hosted site running the FrontPage Server
Extensions, and are you publishing via HTTP?

If so, try opening the hosted site directly in FrontPage
and running Recalculate Hyperlinks from the Tools menu.

Otherwise, if you're publishing by FTP, you may need to
republish the pages in question.

Also, are these ordinary HTML pages? And if not, what?

Thanks . .. solved that problem, but now I have more
serious problems with forms that don't work -- see my
latest post.

FYI
If the date/time is in a shared border or include page right click it for Date Properties and select the option - last automatically
updated
