How do I insert a Wait code in a phone number? A pause (,) will not work
since the wait time can vary greatly.

Commas are the only way I know to add a pause. What are you attempting?

Thank you,
I dial in to a message que. When the initial call connects, I must dial an
extension. Occaisionally the switchboard operator picks up and actually
answers. With the comma, the extenstion number fires when the pause is over
and disrupts the call.
With my cell phone I can insert a "wait" instead of a "pause". With the
wait, the extension only dials when I click continue. With the pause it
always dials the second part-even if I am already talking.

Gary,

It has nothing to do with mail. It is a contacts question. This is the
"Windows mail and contacts community". I will admit that with microsoft
revamping all their online communities yesterday I am having trouble finding
things. I would hope you might be aware of where YOU are posting since tou
are the MVP and I am in need of your help.

Since the word "Contacts" was not mentioned anywhere in the previous
parts of this thread, it made me wonder.

I don't use the web-based version of "Communities", just using my
newsreader to access this newsgroup, which only has "Vista Mail"
in its name.

From the web side everything is VASTLY changed from last week. This I was
just looking for a solution that I now suspect does not exist.
