I am creating a presentation to aid me in teaching co-workers how to use our
database system. It is throught the internet and I would like to take a few
screen shots and add them into my powerpoint slides. How would I go about
doing this?

The easiest way is to hold down the Alt key and hit the PrintScreen button.
Then go to PowerPoint, and go to the Edit menu and choose Paste. However,
you are better off pasting into a picture editing program (like Adobe
PhotoShop), doing any editing/cropping you want there, saving as a JPG or
GIF, and then going to PowerPoint for Insert > Picture > From File.
