Hello,

I am trying to find out whether it is possible to add a PDF File and link it
into an Access database.

We receive a number of PDF Files that are often in a PDF format. We are
trying to link this data into our database so that it is tied to a specific
record and is viewable.

I have been able to successfully link and view things such as jpg photos,
but any time I try to add a PDF the image never appears.

I changed the properties of the PDF to reflect that the file extension is
PDF, but it still will not appear in the view window.

Can a PDF be inserted and viewable within MS Access (Version 2000)? Thanks.
Mike

While it may be possible, you'd be far better off storing it external to the
database, and simply storing a link to it in the database.
