Inserting a music file to a PowerPoint

Is there a max PowerPoint file size where a music insert is N/A?

My current file size is 92Mb and includes 181 slides. When I click on
"Insert", the movies and sounds option is not highlighted so I can insert a
sound file.

Hi Mike,

No. Insert is not limited by file size. Have you selected a slide prior to
clicking insert?

Also, 92 MB is awfully big for a presentation. Have you tried to keep the
file size down?
Have a look at this FAQ page to see if you can reduce the file size and
reduce your risk of corruption and decrease the load time required.

Thanks, Bill.

I totally agree about the file size being exceptionally large. It's a
time-lapse presentation of building demolition and construction ... hence the
large quantity of slides.

It appears I can insert the sound file by viewing the presentation as
"normal", instead of trying to accomplish in "slide sorter".
