inserting a Multiple sheet table from excel into word

There is a problem inserting an excel spreadsheet into. The excel spreadsheet
is about 4 pages long. I want to be able to insert the multi page table into
word and not have it truncated at the bottom of the first page in Word. I
want to be able to have the table to be inserted and have it continue on to
rest of the pages in Word. I have tried inserting the table as an object and
as a picture. Neither of these tricks work. What other trick can I try?

An object or picture in Word cannot be more than one page long, so you could
paste four separate Excel objects or pictures (each representing one page of
the Excel table) into your Word document. An alternative approach would be
to select and copy the range Excel range, then do a simple paste (Ctrl+V)
into Word, which should convert the selected Excel range into a Word table.
You'll probably have to fix some of the table formatting if you do this, but
you'll be able to paste all four pages in one shot.
