Insert text from another page

Can you ...

Page 2 have a paragraph - want the same paragraph to show up in a specific
area on page 8, and automatically update if change the contents of paragraph
on page 2 to udpate page 8.
 
Using Word 2003, and not using forms, its a report and want info from page 2
to appear on page 8
forms doesn't meet the needs as only works once you lock down the document,
but then others can change it.

I imagine you could bookmark the info on page 2 and then insert a
cross-reference to the bookmark text on page 8.
 
Copy your text, find the spot you want to paste it in to, then go to Edit,
Paste Special, Paste link. Now any change to make to the original paragrpah
will be updated in the pasted paragraph. To update, hit F9 in the pasted
paragraph. P.S. if you don't get the paste link option, paste link the
paragraph to another document then copy it from that document to your
original.

There are solutions in that article that don't involve forms. Did you get as
far as #3: Bookmark? Or #4: OLE Link, the solution you were so grateful for
when someone else offered it?
