I just bought my first Apple, a Powerbook 15 G4. I simply want to add some
music to my (PPT 2004 for Apple) presentation, via the "Insert Sounds/from
file sequence" I tried but got something like"cannot insert this file". I
have music on a CD that I added to ITunes libary. (Music that is in my
library plays fine on my computer, but apparently is not in the right format
to be inserted and accepted in PPT. I have to believe that ITunes has the
capability to format music loaded from a CD so the files can be inserted into
PPT slides.
If so, how can I utilize ITunes to properly format the sound files when I
transfer from a CD to the sound library so that PPT 2004 for Apple will
enable it to be inserted in a slide ? I (naively) thought that I could simply
use ITunes and add the file from my CD to the Itunes sound library, and then
insert the appropriate track using PPT's movie and sounds menus.I have read
some websites, it is not understandable to me, as is all of the complexities
of sound file types. Can anyone guide me through this, or refer me to a
clearly written reference ?Thank you so much, Music would greatly enhance my
presentations.
