This great article explains some of the problems with using a MOV object in
a Windows PowerPoint presentation. Apple does not like to share their toys,
so they do not allow others to use their codecs. The solutions are listed
in the article.
I find it financially interesting that MS was given a problem with
multimedia players in Europe, but Apple has, so far, escaped notice.
Perhaps that sounds a bit more bitter than it should, but I run into this
too often in my work as well.

I wan't going to say anything but you are telling this user to waste money
on an upgrade that will not solve the problem. What ever gave you the idea
that a new copy of office would solve this?
