Insert Photo on Web-site

M

MapleE.

Hi:
I want to 'insert' the photo on my favorite web-site that
has a lot of threads and its photoes as attachment.

How to 'insert' as an attachment after writing the
thread I want to post?

There is a limit as follow:
a.. Valid attachments: jpg
a.. No file can be larger than 300kB
a.. All files together cannot be larger than 900kB
a.. 3 more file(s) can be attached to this message

Also, is there a way to 'preview' a thread and attachment
before submitting it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

MapleE,
I can't see this belong to MS XP group, it belong to the website you are
trying to Upload the Images to.
But I will have a shot in the dark as you didn't provide more info either,
assuming you have this Row Image with a digital camera been taken and you
want to upload it from the cameera to the website direct without editing it,
That is the problem?.
The image on the camera can be about 500 KB or more, try to use an image
editor like photoSop or other to resize your images and reduce their size, so
to be able to upload this Doc with the image.
The web desinger put this limitation, to keep bandwidth low and or security
reason if what I said didn't work or make sense try to contact the website to
give you instruction and as it is a forum they will be much helpful.
HTH.

Hi:
Thanks for the response.

The web-site about which I mentioned has NO forum like this, MS Group.

As to upload the photo is that I already 'resized' in order to accomodate
to the web-site rule. However, my concern is whether the resized-photo gets
larger when someone click on it for getting larger image/full-sized photo?

All of those small sized photos get larger, ... full-sized to fit to the
screen
when I clicked on each of them for larger images/photos.

Do you think that what I'm doing is correct, ... 'resized' photo made by
using < My Documnet <
Resized? From there, I pick the resized-photo as attachment.

Thanks again.

look into a photo hosting service (free) like photobucket, that way you can
insert a hyperlink to the photo taking up much less space and they can view
the larger photo.
what is the web site ?

Compare your picture to a balloon with a picture on it.
Stretch the balloon and the picture gets bigger.
The weight of the balloon hasn't changed, but the physical size has.

A picture has a height and width size and resolution.
If you increase the height and width size and reduce the resolution, the Kb
size of the picture file will stay the same.
