The tab for "insert page numbers" does not appear on insert. It is not in the "custmize section" There is a icon for "page number" but it only adds a (1) number. It use to be you could insert page numbers and then position them at the top or bottom of page, left, right and center. I can not find that function on Office 2003.

So if any body knows what happend to that function please let me know.

Frank,

It is still there. The Menu item is "Page Numbers ... " when you get to
the customized commands window look a few entries below "Page Number" and
you will see "Page Numbers ..."

Frank, are you sure you're looking at the whole menu? The "Page Numbers..."
command is right there on the Insert menu in my copy of Word 2003, right
where it's always been. And when I went to Tools > Customize > Commands, I
looked under Insert and there was "Page Numbers..."

If you're upgrading from Office 97, try double-clicking the Insert Menu to
make the whole thing appear; otherwise, single-click and wait a moment. If
it still isn't there, please post back.
