Insert filename and path malfunction

Hi.
In Word 2000 we have been using the "Insert Auto Text" function to insert
the "Filename and Path" into our document footers. This had been working
prefectly, but now when we use this feature only the Filename gets inserted,
it no longer includes the Path. A repair and a complete reinstall of Office
could not fix this problem.

Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this? Is there a setting in Word that
we're missing? Thanks.

Press Alt+F9 to display the field code. Does it show { FILENAME \p } or just
{ FILENAME }? If the latter, you need to redefine the AutoText entry to
include the \p switch.
