insert file

I was useing my word document and i have inserted another file into it as a
object just by drag and drop. this seems to no longer work and it is now
inserting the contents of the file inside the open word doc. What has changed
or what setting do i need to change to get it bacrougek to the way it was
working.

Does it work if you use the Object dialog box to insert the file?

No
it does not work i have tryed to drop a object in and it will lock up the
software.

But is the error only with drag and drop or does it occur when you insert
the object via the Object dialog too?
