insert CD action

Hi!

There are two settings to prevent the system from doing
anything after inserting a CD:

1. - right mouse button > properties > AutoPlay > Take no
action
2. - Popup: Take no action & do this in future

If I made a mistake in 2.:

- How can I change the wrong behaviour, where can I find
the setting?
- Is it possible to access the setting programmatically?

Thanks a lot

Ralf

In number 1. They are the same setting.

Programs get 2 seconds to cancel an autoplay. So yes. It's in the shell programmers guide.

Hi David!

Wasn't it 3 seconds? I read the article and it seemed
relative complicated to me (getting the interfaces ...) -
just to suppress the action.

Isn't there any whizzard entry?

My system doesn't show such a popup in contrast to the
other one - for that I asked because I guessed that I
configured the systems differently. So I guessed further
that there must be an entry ...

Thanks in advance

Ralf

What exactly are you trying to do?

If you use 1 again, it ought to over-rule.

If not there is an Autofix program that MSoft have produced:
available at
