Inser page break option is greyed out

I have just run a 7-page document through Textbridge 11 OCR software and
pasted the results, page by page, into Word 2000. In the files menu, the
option "page setup" is greyed out; in the insert menu, the option "page
break" is greyed out. What has happened? How can I fix it? If I try to
print the file, all seven pages of the original print atop one another on a
single sheet of paper. HELP?!?!

Which view are you working in?

Have you any idea what kinds of objects you're pasting?

If you Ctrl+End after pasting each page, do the missing commands become
available?
