Input On Card Upgrade

Good day all,
I work primary with image editing and sound recording. Some images can get quite large in MBs. I use PSP 8.1, and sometimes 7.04 when I'm in a hurry because I'm more use to it. The computer I use is a custom built one, and would like to upgrade the whole thing but can't afford it right now(Retired Military). Just looking for the most card that will fit my current build.
Thanks for your input. Currently I'm not a gamer<s>. Sorry if below is too much info.

ATI do 3 current cards - 9200 - 9600 and 9800.
They are (for modern games) low end, medium and top of the range
respectively.
They come in 3 flavours - SE, standard and Pro (or XT).
Your motherboard has a 2x AGP port which should support any of these tho it
wont run them at full speed i.e. 8x
Considering your current machine and budget I would suggest the 9200

ATI 9100, still a few cards left for sale on www.pricewatch.com
The 9100 is a little faster then the 9000, 9200 and 9200SE.
